Hi all,
My dealer warranty is just about to expire and I need to decide whether to extend it. I have heard of companies other than delaers offering warranties cheaper than the £895 quoted. Does anyone have any experience of these and could you point in the right direction pls?
Car is an 05 Boxster S with 18,000 miles, as you can see I don't do ever so many miles but would like the peace of mind a warranty brings...

Re: 3rd party warranty
I used to work in the motor trade and have dealt with warranty companies.
Most none dealer warranties are not very good. You need to read from front to back and see what is covered and waht is not.
They usually only replace parts that have failed. so if you have a noisy wheel brg, that has not failed so they will not replace it.
You may have to pay any investigation charges, regardless of the outcome.

Re: 3rd party warranty
Thanks for the advice, I have TWG motorsport a few doors away so have decided after talking to them too to knock the warranty idea on the head.
Wish me luck....
