They have recently been removed from my low mileage 964 turbo and were made by RH (Germany) in the mid to late 90’s. Due to their excessive width, these wheels are ideally suited to the wider bodied cars such as the 964 turbo, the 993 C4S, turbo & GT2 and the later 996 turbo & GT2. The RH 3.6 wheel’s are virtually identical to the 3.6 speedline wheels in design. They are very light and have a 5 spoke cast aluminium centre with a spun aluminium outer rim. The centre sections are finished in metallic silver (powder coated I believe) whilst the rims have a highly polished / painted finish. The wheels take OPC centre caps and standard bolts. RH wheels were made in Germany to a very high standard in order to meet or exceed TuV standards.
The wheels are in excellent overall condition and are ready for use. All 4 centres are immaculate and as new. The rims have no curbing marks or damage at all. There a few small areas of paint lift around some bolt heads (very common on split rim wheels) but this is only noticeable at very close range. There are no signs of corrosion anywhere. There is no cracking or damage to the inner rims either. Whilst on the car, the tyre pressures remained stable with no slow leaks over time and the car drove perfectly straight and true. Tyre wear was also even. The metal, colour crested Porsche centres as seen in the photographs are included in the sale.
These wheels are VERY WIDE, (wider than the 3.6 speedlines which are 8J and 10J) so please ensure they will be suitable for your car. Collection from Warrington, Cheshire would be preferable due to the size and weight of the wheels, although I should be able to package them up for delivery at the buyer’s expense if required.
