There is no doubt that the 2.5 is great, however if you are always going to wonder about the bigger engines then that is the one to buy. Tiptronic/manual debates still go on because it is personal preference but for the real world Tiptronic is excellent. Also if buying second hand you know that the Tip will have protected the engine against over revs.
