Cholmondeley Castle 18th & 19th July

Post by tiptoptech »

For all those whom I have tickets for could we aim to be at the "Wild Boar Hotel" on the A49 just up the hill from Beeston Catle Market for a 9am departure on both days, we will have the camping stoves and BBQ with us so please bring along your food. If you have not booked in and would like to come along tickets can be purchased on the gate for £25 per person.

This event is in it second year now and the organisers are trying to create a northern version of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, within the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle there is now a race circuit, throughout both days there are a variety of cars racing Bentleys, Ferrari's, Porsche's Lambo's, Formula 1 cars, Le Man Cars and so on, also throughout the weekend there are Classic Motorcycles racing aswell, on the lake you have power boats, jet ski's, Thunder cats ect competeing, also throughout the day there are Helicpoters flying around and this year a spitfire also, the event is sponcered by Bentley Motors and Breitling Watches, lots of car clubs support the event hence why our TIPEC region was present, it's a great couple of days and is improving each year, for more information just google Pageant of Power and have a look at their website, drop me a line after Christmas if you fancy joining us next year.
