Touch-up paint

Post by seg1959 »

Hi there,

I need some touch-up paint to sort out a couple of stone chips - can anyone advise where I can get some? I assume that the OPC would be able to supply touch-up sticks? Anyone else? Internet?

Thanks in advance for your help

I've had paint mixed by Halfords in the past to a paint code, this was a mid metallic blue & the match was fine. Their paint is a strange acrylic type mix, but has very good coverage, ideal for touch in type work. Halfords will do aerosols, touch in tinlets & mix by the can.

Hi,

I bought a kit off a guy on ebay. Was a bit dubious at first but took the plunge and well it was a perfect match.

Kit came with paint, lacquer, rubbing compound, panel wipe and a brush. All in small quantities but for £20 was enough to do all the chips on my car and have loads left over.

I will try and find the sellers name when I get back tonight.

Thanks
