GT3- Service

Post by SJF »

My recently aquired 03 GT3 will require a major service in about 2 months and I'm wondering whether to take it to Solihull OPC or an independant. From memory the the costs at the OPC are about £900 inc a plug change. Obviously the Indpendant will be cheaper but what will it do to the residual value?.
Incidentally I had a quote for a replacement clutch, OPC =£2300.00  , independent £1370.00  , so you can see thats quite a difference.

cheers

I know quite a few of the guys use Fernsport at Silverstone for servicing their GT3's.

They have a good reputation and you'll probably improve your residuals by letting them look after it.
