for you 911 chaps

Post by HUBBA.HUBBA »

DVLA cherished numbers Auction at Cheltenham this week.

P911 TOY
P996 POR
POR 911K

all have guide price of £250

I'm sure I saw something like '911 PDK' in there somewhere as well but that was about £1000

I wanted '944 SKY' for my s2 cab but they want silly money for it

Anyone got any experience of this? I can't believe they'll go for that. How much more are they likely to go for?

I work in Cheltenham....

Bryan

Just tried to convince Mrs 6853 that I really, really need a new number, P996POR appeals to me. But she said something about scissors, credit card and balls :?

Well, out of the ones I was interested in :

BRY41N. Reserve £300. Sale price £2,000.
E944POR. Reserve £250. Sale price £700.

Even if I thought they were good prices, I'd still rather spend the money on the car itself.

Cheers,
Bryan

I've never understood the thing about cars (or other forms of transport) being called 'she'. I see my 944 as handsome not pretty. That's got ba*ls!
