So, I had a go in a friends PDK 997 the other day, and was blown away, and have decided to trade in my gen 1 997 manual to get a gen 2 with PDK. Highly controversial I know, but it was truly love at first gear shift. On my hunt I have gone through all the usual channels, and came across this potential gem from Cridfords (opinions on them would also be welcome I have read many mixed things).

Now I was wondering what the wonderful Porker wizards opinions are on the cars mileage. My own car sits around 62,000 miles but as a manual and something I have taken great care of myself I know (or at least feel like I know) that the car is in a solid condition under the hood, and as a manual less to go wrong with and cheaper to fix. I think the milage It is definitely justified in the price being about 5 grand cheaper than everything else I have looked at, but is it a case of its a little too good to be true?
I would love your feedback team.
Cheers.

62000 miles, not even a need to ask the question is there?
Car is 7 years old, how much would it be expected to have?

Fair point, but for an extra few bags of gold I could have a 49000 mile car, would you say those extra coins would be well spent or would it make more monetary sense considering it always going to be a loss buying a car to go with the original cheaper option? Just trying to get some opinions on the matter.

Re: How many miles is too many?
I'd go on general condition and spec of the car (you should be able to gauge how it's been looked after fairly well) then whichever one you prefer. Don't think there's anything in it mileage wise to be honest so I'd put that lower down the order of priority.

You need to take into account 3 things. Condition, history and condition.

Mileage is only really important when it's extreme.....high or low.
