996 c4 wont start when hot
Hi everybody. I have a 996 which when hot will just turn over and not fire. I have fuel and a spark. It looks like the crank sensor is fairly new. Leave it to cool for half hour and she fires up. Sometimes it stalls when hot as you depress the clutch. Any ideas before I make better use of the fuel and spark!!

I had a very similar problem with one of my 996's. It turned out to be the crank position sensor breaking down when hot. Even if your's looks new, you could eliminate it by removing it, measuring it's resistance while heating it up with a heat gun and seeing if the resistance goes mental as mine did. Hope this helps

Needs scanning with an OBD reader, either a cheapy from E Bay with Torque Pro on an ANdroid or a full blown reader such as a PWIS or similar. My guess would be Crank sensor or similar.
