Is the Wessex Region still alive?

Nice sunny evening 19th June (3rd Thursday of month) so I had a run out and dropped by The Bucks Head being I was out that way, looked shut thought nothing of it so carried on my hooning about the South Downs and dropped Pete our RO an email the next day to see if the region was still active, not had a reply yet but he maybe on holiday I guess.

Met Wazzer and his good lady during the Beaulieu weekend, same thing they dropped by the venue on the off chance on a 3rd Thursday at some point and no Tipec presence to be found.

This evening I got chatting to a guy with a 911 Carrera that also mentioned he'd had a run out one evening to find the pub shut and being refurbished after the floods and couldn't understand why the region listing venue hadn't been updated.

That's 3 of us that I know of that are in the Wessex region that have tried to attend something that appears not be exist anymore!

If the region is defunct can we make something happen please, I'm happy to put my hand up if it needs some fresh blood so to speak.

Perfect timing, I have just exchanged a note with Pete on the subject

The venue has been refurbed after being flooded which has obviously caused some disruption and a general malaise.

I suggest we gather at The Bucks Head on the 17th and discuss a way forward

I will ping a note out to all the members before the weekend.
