Porsche Display at VW Festival 2013

Post by shaneb »

I am one of the founders and organisers of VW Festival which we hold at Harewood House near Leeds each year, and also the proud owner of a lovely 1987 Grand Prix White 911 Targa.

http://www.vwfestival.co.uk

This year is the 9th event and is on the 16th-18th August 2013 and I am trying to put together a Porsche display at the show this year.

We always have quite a selection of Porsches in the show and shine, and a few on the various club stands, but this year I would like to put on a dedicated display.

Anyone interested?

Cheers

Just so I can see if this is viable....can anyone that is interested post pics of their cars?

It's only just over 5 weeks to the show and I stupidly have a holiday to fit in between now and then....oh and a trip to Goodwood to be on the Porsche 911 display this weekend!! Wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take me over 5 hours to drive there! :)

Cheers

Fellow TIPECers

As some may know I do have a somewhat OCD Porsche side - but by some twist of fate we seem to have a collecion of classic old Vee Dubs. The one thing I will say is if you get a chance to go to VW event as a guest - GO. They are totally bonkers and the passion is extraordinary. Like I say Porsche will always be right up there, but a 3 day VW event is an experience you need to witness to believe!

Having said that I will be on holiday - but having seen the best of both worlds I would say there is a happy marriage here.!

Good news is - I have found a storage barn so space for Pork again...... whoppeeeee !
