Independent Porsche serving in Kent
My 964 C2 is due a 12,000 mile service and I wondered if anyone out there had any recommendations. The car has a full service history and was last serviced 2 yrs ago by La Rose Porsche in Kemsing. I do about 3-4000 miles pa and change oil & filter annually between major services. No compliants about La Rose but seem to recall a magazine article about Project Nine in Marden? Has anyone any feedback on Project Nine or anyone else in Kent (I live near Sevenoaks)?

Project 9 is Cliff who used to work at La Rose & I've heard good things about. I'd also recommend Brooklands Kent in Swanley http://www.brooklandskent.co.uk/

100% Cliff at Projectnine, he looks after my 968, in fact it's in there at the moment having amongst other things;
Gear box rebuild (Pinion bearing)
All new suspension
New Steering UJ.
He's a good honest guy, quality work and IMHO reasonably priced. Highly recommended. FWIW Matt@Type911 only ever uses Cliff. The only pain is where he's based, i'm SE london but fortunately only work about 10 miles away.

I've used Project Nine Engineering for big and small jobs on my 944 S2 and would strongly recommend them whether your car is front, mid or rear engined. Whilst my car was being serviced in January their workshop looked like a Porsche wish list with cars ranging from a 996 GT3 to a gorgeous 550 Spyder replica.
