back in a Boxster

Post by ewan221 »

Picking up a Boxster S next week

After having no luck selling my SLK32 (bought only really as I needed an auto due to a bad knee) got offered a swap for a Boxster and decided to accept.

Looks like a good one good history and lots of consumables recently replaced.

Suppose only thing is I quite quickly got fed up with my last Boxster but if it cones ti it I imagine it may be easier to sell than the merc.

Lol have already noticed on PH someone looking to swap a 968 for a Boxster I really should keep away from the classifieds.

It's not that long ago since you were looking for a 944 or 968? or is that the plan, get the Boxster & do a swap for the 968! (presumably its a tiptronic)
Guess the Silver Star didn't really please then.

My knee much better thanks to some physio and injections so can happily drive a manual again :-) so plan is prob run the Boxster for a while and prob put it up for sale in a few months and look for a a 944 or 968.

The SLK really didnt float my boat at all - loved the engine but the steering and auto box just didnt excite me at all

I do though still have a hankering for a V8 at some point but not sure if I want another auto which really rules out most of the 928's
