Driving Event at Portland Sunday 17th July

Southern Region has been invited to meet up with the IAM at Portland prison DT5 1EQ where they have reserved the car park from 4:00. The IAM team will conduct a fun skills driving event around cones with points awarded for accuracy.

There will be a chance to win “Southern Region Driver of the Year”.

For those coming from the East, I suggest meeting at 12:00 on the 17th July -
The Bakers Arms
Dorchester Road,
Lytchett Minster,
Poole, BH16 6JF
This is just off the A35 and would be a suitable place to gather.

From there The Blue Vinny, (DT2 8TE at Puddletown) makes a good stop for a bar snack followed by a cruise down to the prison.
