I thought i would share this with you , if you ever have to change your tyres or do something which involves taking your wheels off.............always use a 19mm hexzon 6 sided socket
Why ?
Because i used a normal 19mm socket to take my wheels off , but i rounded two of them off, because they had be done up with an air-gun.............3 hours later after drilling them off and a lot of swearing.
I managed to do it ok , as i had some spare nuts

Preferably use a flank drive socket rather than one that drives on the points, not a vast amount of dosh from Halfords. The other thing is to make sure the socket is fully engaged to full depth, otherwise you can cam the head off leaving a portion behind. The Porsche Workshop manual even refers to this.

I would also invest in a Torque wrench and buy a soft socket to save scuffing those new wheel nuts.

All wise words , another point is that tyre firms , or garages should not be using nut runners on these wheels/nuts/cars anyway , if you see some Herbert picking one up near your car , request that they decist , a refusal would be foolish and I am sure would be met with understanding, if not I would take my custom elsewhere . All wheelnuts should be torqued up , if they are made of soft alloy even more so
