Had a great time at VSCC on Saturday, lots of racing and cars to look at, not sure about the weather on Sunday?
We should make this a annual event for the club?
Many thanks John see you later, hope you did not get to wet.
had a cracking day today, many thanks for organising, glad the rain stopped for the racing altho it did get a bit chilly by the afternoon, and that merc was awesome !!!
1986 911 Supersport in Silver (the new red).
2023 Hyundai Tucson in dark grey.
2014 Mazda 2, ZOOM ZOOM, its the wifeys, honest !
Wasnt it brilliant? The Merc was indeed awesome and the last few laps he did on Sunday were a bit faster than before. I was particularly impressed by the 1906 Mors,I never thought I would see one of those racing! Mark Gillies (ERA) harrying Rod Jolley(Lister Jaguar Monza) was pretty exciting stuff. That guy never gives up!One hell of a racer! The spitfire on Saturday was another highlight, that pilot was really enjoying himself! Being able to walk freely around the pits and paddock is really good and the whole event is quite relaxed and friendly.Yes John I think it should be an annual Tipec event,so to everyone who went please come again next year and bring some others with you. Once youve been it becomes a "must do again" event. We stayed Saturday night in a hotel just outside the paddock and they also have a very nice campsite there which we are thinking of using next year. Great weekend, good company and brilliant cars both racing and on display. Regards John& Jan
