TIPEC SCOTLAND

Stewart Gordon welcomed all to the meeting and remarked on an excellent turn out, all Porsches were looking good in the car park. Welcome to the meeting was Alistair McLeod a new member to the club and the proud owner of a guards red 1984 911 carrera targa 3.2 sport.
A big thank you was given to Bill Thomson and Tony blow for the new cub flags they were on display at the East Kilbride show and they did look excellent I have to say.
Yet another big thanks to spud and James for there efforts whilst in Ireland on a pre visit mission, James explained the places of interest whilst we will be there in September and managed to get a deal on the accommodation side of things also. Spud had the lap tops wound up and pictures of the hotel and places of interest was on view for all to see. Names were being taken for Knockhill and it was first thought that only 10 cars were allowed but after contacting Knockhill we are and am pleased an exception to the rule and therefore all who put there names down will be able to go (15 cars in total)

Names were also taken for the Bridge of Allen show this Sunday coming (18th may) Plenty of passes to go round for this show 2 or 3 spaces still available. We will be meeting up at Stirling Services at 0845 in the car park and departing there after around 0900

Names were yet again taken for the Thirlstaine Classic Show 1st of June in the town of Lauder (Scottish borders) we will be meeting at Dreghorn services just of the Edinburgh city bypass for 0830 and a 0900 very sharp depart. Again we have 2 or 3 spaces available for anyone wishing to go.

Other shows for the season are as per the previous minutes on this site and in the All Torque mag for all to see, any questions pls do not hesitate to ask myself .

Hazel Bedbourgh had done some research into a Christmas venue and her pre party planning is on going .

Many thanks to all who attended and excellent turn out once again as I have already mentioned, next months meeting will be on the 4th of June same place same time.
