Lower door skin panel

Post by gdupl0ck »

Can anyone recommend body shop to fit new lower (6 inch) door skin panels, finish and respray to my 1968 911 in the Kent area, preferably East Kent. Design911 supply these panels, not sure if anyone else does.

Thanks
Graham

Can't recommend one, but find someone very old to do it.

My reasoning is that the average bodyshop does not do this kind of work these days and modern apprenticeships do not cover the kind of skills you need to do this kind of work without making good with spades of filler!

Find the right guy, with some old school skills, there is no reason why it will not be a totally invisible repair.
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it
