Kop Hill Climb 2011

Hello,

I know September is a while away yet. But has anyone been to this event?

I went for this first time this September and for a fiver there was a great variety of cars old & new.

Anyone from Thames / Gruppe South fancy it this year?

I heard this was good and it was a suggestion to go on the Thames Valley events list for 2011. I think it clashed with the 911 & Porsche World picnic in 2010 so I hope it doesn't this year.

I've been to the website and it says the following;

"On the 24/25th September 2011 Kop Hill Climb will be restored to its illustrious past.

This commemorative event is now a fixture on the historic motorsport calendar. Last year over 350 historic vehicles ran the hill, a further 300 were on display in the paddock with a delighted crowd of over 8000 spectators."

Last year it was £5 to get in and there were a couple of club stands so it could be good.

Same date (on the Sunday) as the 911 & Porsche World event again. Still, that wasn't so good in 2010 so maybe we should try something different. It'll be in the events diary when I get that finished....
