I am on about my 3rd or 4th Halfords 2T jobbie. Around £30 & last 10 years or so. I know have a "lightweight" aluminium racing jack & A. it is heavier than the Halfords one & B. it s wider so a struggle to fit between the arch & wheel on a 944!
When the garage closed my late father 'rescued' the smallest of the ones they used there. It is bloody massive & even my brother who used to power lift at county level struggles to move it! Me not a chance :(

Pete - was that recently? The annoying thing is I got one like yours for P1G but didn't treat myself at the same time. If your local Costco has the lightweight one I might give them a ring.

I'm not sure when I got mine. Not too long ago. My local is the one at Lakeside
