JMG in Christchurch has got loads of second hand wheels in all sizes for not alot of money. Jon was having a clear out not long ago so give them a try with what you're looking for 01202488800 they can sort out the courior. He got my 18" split rims with Pilot Sport Cup tyres for £500 so should have something down there for you.

Is your 944 the the Pre ABS style with the smaller outset?
Makes a difference to the wheels you can fit so worth checking.

no abs its a 1987 2.5 8v,currently have 15ins at the moment

Unless it is a 86 which didn't get registered until 87 then it almost certainly has ABS off set wheels ET50ish even if it has no ABS. Mine is a Jan 87 car and has later offset.
