Recently paid : Leads..251.00
Plugs.. 57.60
Caps .. 98.00
Rotors .. 50.00
Distributor dust boots....25.00
Fitting including 2 hour to set up
ignition afterwards.......329.70
All plus Vat @15%

This is on the 993 , so twin dizzies, 12 plugs etc.Don't forget all of this stuff is imported from Germany, so it has all gone up a lot in the last year cos of the exchange rate :(

yeah thats about right, when you say setting up ignition what do you mean??

Russ - personally i would cost it in with a new set of rocker gaskets and a valve clearance setup... seeing as you are working in the same area...

when I had mine done, it turned out that the leads and dizzie caps, and rotors were original (date coded) and made a huge difference to the car ,when they were changed, so not bad value given how long they last. Don't be tempted to cut corners using cheaper leads, it is I am told it is a false economy. My leads were sourced in Germany, and I am told that there is even a difference in quality between some of the German units and units of the same make sourced here :?: Beru in my case. Good luck :D

£630 :(

Thats how much leads plugs dizzys and rotors r!

They have never been changed and where fu@ked.
No metal bits in the dizzy, worn away.

Its better, pulls a little stronger, only on a brief rush hour 45 min drive on the m56-60. Defo needed doin.
