Re: What have I bought ??
Hope this helps
the first three characters of the vin number identify the make WPO = Porsche
the next three characters advise the build market ZZZ = rest of world car
the next two characters give the start of the model type 99 = some form of 99- car
the next character is a blank character as it is Z (other characters used in USA I believe)
the next character identifieds the model year R = 1994 (S =1995 etc)
the next character identifies the manufacturing plant S = Stuttgart
the next character completes the identity of the car. 3 = identity and with 99- from above we have 993
the final characters are specific to the car and complete its unique identity
As Jason says S variants were not manufactured until 1996 model year
Hope this helps
Enjoy.

Re: What have I bought ??
You can try pushing the car to a sensible limit and see if it understeers. If it does it is a 4. If the tail comes out then it is a 2. But be careful and drive safe! Sounds like it is a 2 with a body kit. Looks nice and clean though!
