PCM multimedia system

Post by allanjenkins »

I'm think of updating the PCM in my 2007 997 as the unit is well outdated when compared to what's available today. I've come across the Dynavin N6-PS which looks an impressive touch screen package which the manufacturers claim is plug-and-play.
Does anyone have any experience of this unit or any other upgrade units that are suitable for the 997.
Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Chaser, looks like I'm not the only one who thinks the PCM on the 997 looks dated.

I don`t mind the look of it, it`s the outdated system I hate. I have updated the maps as far as I can and added a Viseo bluetooth gadget but I miss having a touchscreen sat nav.

The Dynavin looks to make the best of it and still retain an original look.

It's one thing Porsche aren't very good at in my opinion, mostly out of date by about 3 years when it's new!
