Cheshire & Staffs run out to Cosford Air Museum on Oct 11th

Post by blackadder30 »

The TIPEC Cheshire & Staffs region have organised a run to RAF Cosford Air Museum on the morning of October 11th arriving around 11:30am. We expect cars from the Midlands and Northwest regions as well, making it around 12 to 15 cars. Departure from the North will be to meet at the Whipping Stocks at 8:30am for a 9:00am departure. Alternatively you can meet the convey on the way or at the museum.

To avoid any issues in turning up en-mass, we have arranged parking for the cars close to the museum itself which could possibly be an impromptu display for the museum visitors as well...

We may also have the opportunity of a photo shoot with the cars parked under the wings of the Nimrod Jet parked on the lawn of the museum so make sure your car is polished and you have your cameras!!

There is a parking charge of up to £3.50 per car but given access to the museum is free and we'll get a photo shoot in, it's not much to cough up to have a great day there.

More details of the museum are on the RAF Cosford Museum website at http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/cosford/

Please confirm if you wish to attend.

First of all, thankyou for organising this run over to Cosford.

It was great to attend my first TIPEC event, and thank you for the invitation.

I tried to have a brief chat with as many of you as possible, and it was a great way to mix interests with cars & aircraft.

I got some more cheeky photos on my way out with some more of the planes. Where are we posting and sharing photos of the day?

Thanks again

Simon
