996 connectivity - Wifi, bluetooth etc.

Does anyone know if any of the 996 models had any of the Wifi, bluetooth etc. put in as standard ?

I am a devout luddite... :shock:

Short answer.................No.

You will need to either fit a device that connects to your head unit. If you have Bose it confuses things a bit more.
I have Viseo device ( with Bose ) that works fine and will allow you to bluetooth music as well as use the phone element.

There are other devices available.

More expensive option is to replace the head unit completely for something more modern.

I've installed a Blaupunkt New Jersey 200 double din unit that has bluetooth capability.

I have to say, it's very good for the measly £105 price tag!

Phone connection is great, streaming is fantastic and the USB connection is very useful.

I would highly recommend you looking for one of them to fit in as it also looks like it belongs there.
