My first baby Porsche...

Hi there all.

I'm the proud owner of a Boxster S (2000 plate) Black & Savannah with split rims. Bought the car last march and am in the process of sorting her out and so thought I'd join the group to say hi.

When it comes to DIY I'm not the most informed but am more than a little enthusiastic about doing more in the future.

At the moment shes at Precision Porsche in Forest row having her alarm fixed! My neighbors just.. love me.

All I can say is I've known some precocious women in my time but she really takes the biscuit. I'd never put up with this type of behavior from a real flesh & blood but her arguments are always so bloody convincing... Hmm.. darn it.

Anyway I hope to get to know some of you on here hopefully in the future and will be joining the club so maybe meet a few of you at a meet.

I'm looking to get into the interior side of things as I have connections in the fabrics industry and am also a live and studio sound engineer so will be dabbling with audio systems at some point also.

I'm really pleased to be involved with the site and hope I can be of some help in some areas as well as learning all I can from you guys. I'm in the strange position of being the only person I know who owns a Porsche these days! (bit Porsche lonely) I used to drive turbo's and alike back in the 80's (to be honest I hated them with there torque steer) and have been involved with works prepared cars back then with guys who used to race them at Thruxton but apart from that haven't really been a Porsche fan. Oh how times change - I love... my Boxster... more-so than a 911 but I'm told that will pass with time. After being called a hairdresser by my brother who drives a V8 Jag a number of times I stupidly rose to his bait and started to argue with him. This is exactly what he wanted of course and have now decided to play the baby Porsche game right back at him. Anyone know where I can get a " my other cars a real Porsche" sticker?

Plenty of eager questions to come.
