Are the engines a problem on all these?

I'm told, and have read, that the 2.7s are less problematic

Well, that's half the job done - took delivery of Ray's Boxster 2.7 manual and love it, feels lighter than the Cayman overall but a touch more nimble at the same time. It doesn't have quite the grunt of the Cayman but it ain't far off!! Now to sell the Cayman - a truly brilliant car that, with any luck, I'll have as well for a while. Win / win.

Oh ...... now here's a thought. Does anybody know how big a task it is to switch 2 sets of heated seats over? The Boxster has sports seats which I quite like but the missus doesn't and for me it's not really an issue - I'm happy with either. So I got to thinking that if I swapped them over (the Cayman has standard seats) would it make the Cayman more attractive to a buyer if it had sports seats?

Any thoughts? Cheers

I prefer the sports seats and would leave them in the Boxster.

Most passengers also like the better support for the shoulders.

You need to update your signature with your rapidly changing fleet!

Well done, looks like a nice Boxster!
