Boxster 3.2S manifold

Post by Pink piggy »

Hi gentlemen
My daughter races a 3.2 S Boxster and the question I would like to ask is this.

Does anyone make a decent exhaust manifold because the standard one looks to be a design that can be improved.

A lot of guys on Boxanet have been singing the praises of the cheapo one on E Bay. Also has a system that goes with it.

Thanks TR7 V8
I will check it out.

Your forum name is interesting as I have had several TR's including a TR5 plus Sprints and a Stag.

Very nice 8) That engine looks so well done.
As stated my daughter races a Boxster 3.2S and I am rebuilding the engine for her.

The first car she ever drove while sitting on my lap was a Dolomite Sprint which I kept for 18 years and track dayed for 16 of those.

The Sprint was finally sold this summer to an American who used it to do the 10 countries 2500 mile tour in 4 days including the alps, which is organised by Club Triumph. The car was then shipped out to Ohio where it now lives. The money I got for it bought my 944 which I am enjoying now.

If she is serious about winning, a Fabspeed will be best if the regulations allow it, a cheaper and almost as good option would be the Sprintex ones. Both do well on the dyno, the fabspeed makes the most power, without losses elsewhere in the curve.
