TIPEC Party Charity Raffle - how you can help

Post by Clive993 »

My wife is helping organise the 15th anniversary party on the 2nd August and is also sorting out the charity auction / raffle.

We are hoping to support and raise funds for 'The Sporting Bears car club' several of our members belonging to both. The Bears ensure every pound raised goes to smaller childrens charities where the money makes a difference. We will of course be given full details of where any money goes to, but they have an excellent system to ensure a real difference to charities requesting funds.

Any case you cant have a raffle / auction without something to win. Which is where you come in? We are contacting numerous Porsche businesses for some help, but we would be grateful if any member can assist in providing something.

If you feel you can provide / blag / create / offer anything at all either directly or via a contact of your own, that we can use on the evening, please let me know.

You can contact me or Jo at jc.gosling@virgin.net (or pm via the site)

SO if your feeling generous and fancy offering your pride and joy as a prize or maybe something not quite so glamorous then please get in touch. We would be grateful for anything.

Regards

Clive

Afraid not, but happy to provide full instructions, data and COSHH sheets and be on the end of the phone for any help required.

To all those kind volunteers - if you could e mail me ( jc.gosling@virgin.net ) with the details of what you have, i can then compile a list for the evening (might pass on the floor resin though., unless it doubles us sealant). Then just bring them along on the day to save annoying postage etc.

That way the prizes will be listed on the tables ready at the beginning of the evening - along with a hugely irritating photo competition of course.

We have had some great offers such as a full set of Smartwax products, boxed, worth £150 currently sitting in my office. The dark force of temptation is great - but i am resisting.

Again thanks to all those making the offers or taking the time to do something for the evening.
