CIS SC tickover

Just put this on impact bumpers but am sure someone will know here as well:
When the SC is COLD (any CIS car for that matter) what speed (rpm)should it tick over at until the warm up phase has finished?
Should the car tick over at a higher rate then drop as the WUR, etc have done their job?
I realise that all the cis parts, cold start valve, WUR, AAR etc etc continue to work in some way when the car is warmed, but my experience of other (granted non cis) cars is that they would, from a cold start, tickover at higher rate, as if a choke was on, and then gradually decrease the rev level to a lower "normal" level when the car was warm, does the SC do this, does CIS in general do this do this?
given that the car ticks over normally when warm without this increse in revs when warming up I would assume this this means that the car not doing this is indicative of a cis (WUR etc ) problem when cold?
Just wondered

Answering your original question:
Shouldn't make any difference - for a Euro car, should be around 850rpm + or - 50rpm.
Do your rev's fluctuate? (Could be time for a new/reconditioned WUR..)

oh the WUR is the next and last thing on the list after anew thermo valve, not the switch that goes in the valve/cam cover but the vacum valve in the cis

Just fitted a Digital WUR to my car. Once I've mapped the thing properly on the Dyno, should be good for plenty enough BHP to see off most 'Pentium Powered' Porsches
They're very rude about your SC - I suggest a Karate chop to the neck

Well, my version - with Manifold (i.e. Boost) pressure - was about £500; think yours should be more in the £300 range... (Porsche OEMs will be twice that.)
Anyway, at least your SC has some '930' part numbers and has its engine in the right place

... Yeah I'm probably biased but some people seem to think that Porsche engines began in 1984 with the Carrera 3.2... "Steam"?!

Heheh

Did you really expect a serious answer in here Gordon?
I did think you had learned the ways of kung fu and following my teachings young Gorldon, but no.. Once you can walk across toilet paper without breaking it, you will have the wisdom to sidestep the teachings of your master!
And the master says the same thing he keeps saying..
"CIS injection is a ballanced system, every component needs to be working perfectly to not effect every other part and to let the engine run perfectly"
In other words... Get the vacuum thermo switch thingy that we know is broke and then re-evaluate it Gordon!!
