Removing rear wings on a 911?????

Hi all, I am wanting to remove the rear wings on my 1980 SC and was wondering where it is best to chop? I can see there are spot welds along the rear quarter and also the seam where the engine lid is? I am wanting to reuse the wings as they are good, it is just there is a good bit of rot on the inners and behind the slam panel which I will replace as well?
