Post by IanM123 »

Folks, Any ideas on the best spark plugs to use....? Looked on Euro Car Parts...Beru, Bosch, Denso, NGK...(no Champion listed but I guess its not British ;-) . Definate case of choice fatigue .... Denso are the dear ones as you can get from opie....any thoughts gratefully recieved....

In my early race mechanic days I had too many problems with certain makes so now ALWAYS use NGK. They generally have a wider heat range for a given spec than the competition & I've never had a failure. From Halfords with a discount card they are sensible money as well.

Yep, would agree, cept they do not (or did not) list a plug for late aircoolds, shame cos I always used them in the past very good on Porsches from 1968, never let me down.
