Just got off the phone to Stewart.
Looks like it will be 23 cars attending.
He has some reserves so I think he'll meet his quota.

I was too late getting a pass, so I’ll probably be with the PCGB gang for this one. The Knockhill Classic is always a great day out.

Hi Tony

Hopefully the organisers will have the two clubs together for this one.
PCGB seem to have more national clout with show orgnanisers and can get last minutes passes easier than us.
Yet we as a grass roots club can often match or exceed their numbers at shows despite this.

See you there,
Stephen

PCGB have not historically been invited to the Knockhill Classic, because their cars are thought to be too modern. The rules of entry for the Classic Speedfair at Knockhill have relaxed over recent years, allowing TIPEC more leeway in model years and they are now extending the same courtesy to PCGB. Should be good to see so many Porsches in the display this year because of it!

Looking forward to seeing you there Tony.
That is if I am still alive after dragging the wife and bay out of bed at 05:30 to make the meeting point.

24 Porsches on the TiPEC stand plus a Tipec Speedster (not a replica) in the car park. About 40 members turned up.
PS
12 Porsches on the PCGB stand.

Well done Stewart, Alan and Neil

I ended up missing it this year.

Both clubs were oversubscribed, so no passes for me in the end. I was going to turn up in the afternoon and just park in the public car park, but after being up most of the night dealing with electrical supply problems at work I just wanted a quiet day in with the dog!
