The June monthly meet for the north west region is on Monday 12th at The Bowling Green, Charnock Richard, from about 7pm with club business at 8pm.
On Sunday 18th it's our annual longest day run, an epic coast to coast adventure.
There's another Friday Feast run on the 23rd to a venue that has yet to be decided.
See our regional page on the main club website for more details or find us on Facebook at Porsche Enthusiasts Club - North West (tipec)

Mega busy North West monthly meet last night (June 12th): 30 people, lots of Porsche cars in the car park and a great atmosphere at the Bowling Green. The staff enjoyed having the Porsches on display!

"On Sunday 18th it's our annual longest day run, an epic coast to coast adventure". So - is anyone going to the Trentham Gardens classic show?
Or am I mixed up?

I think a few from Cheshire and staffs may be going to Trentham. We've only just done Tatton Park show which is enough for me for several months.

Thanks Sean. Early days yet, but we're hopeful for a longer term relationship with The Bowling Green.

Coast to Coast Longest Day Run: Southport to Whitby, 18 cars, lots of miles, quite an achievement!

On our way back from a Euro Road Trip on Thursday I was chatting with a guy with a blue MG softop on the Chunnel. I think he is an ex pat, living in Germany.
He had heard about a Porsche coast to coast run and had been invited by a friend in the North West.
Glad you had a decent turnout, we were frying in the sun at Bromley Pageant of Motoring. Tiff Needell popped his head in the gazebo and told us that our cars were not clean enough

Sean - I know one of our guys (Steve) had had 'foreign' visitors very recently who were travelling in - I think - an old MGB which was pale blue. Steve did the C2C run and had invited them to join in. I'd guess it's the same folk! Small world.
I intend to gather a few snap shots together and ask Mr Blow nicely to publish them in All Torque.

Hi Sean, was this your car? If so, it was indeed my friends Alain and Sabine that you were chatting to! They're Belgian but speak excellent English and were on their way up north to visit us. I was hoping they'd join on the coast to coast trip, but the Belgians are late drinkers and not early risers!
As Richard says, it is indeed a small world

Steve
It was indeed.
We had a chat about the cars and Alain mentioned the Coast to Coast run. Nice people, his English was so good i thought he was from these shores.
I hope that they enjoyed their visit.
