Bought one
Today I bought a 98 boxster to replace my 944,I only had a test drive today but I loved it,,,, looking forward to Saturday collection,,,,,bring it on

I did that 5 years ago. big difference on the driving experience. Boxster is heavier & less agile. Was very fast in Germany saw 140MPH on the GPS in a 3.2S! I promise I will when me and my 8 year old daughter go to collect it on Saturday,,,,hope a dry day and we can put the roof down in sunny Scotland

Excellent you will love the Boxster mine puts a grin on my face every time I drive it & still can't believe I can afford a Porsche 
I have my roof down as much as possible (night or day) & even if it starts raining as long as your travelling above 30mph you don't get wet LOL
Handling wise its more than agile enough to cope with anything I throw it into.

I did two driving tours of Wales last year, one in a 986 and one in my 924, both cars are great fun on all types of road.
Hood down motoring on those good days is fantastic.
The Boxster feels more modern and much more of an everyday car

I did the same, chopped in my 944S for a Boxster S, don't regret it one bit
