Broken Sun Visors (996 C4)

Both my sun visors are damaged, nearside has lost the flap over the mirror, drivers side the flap, opens itself when the visor is down.

Has anybody repaired these before or is it get a second hand one, (or even a new one)?

I am guessing the drivers side will be a broken spring or the spring has popped out of its stops. They are simple all be it a bit fiddly so you have nothing to lose in having a go at fixing them but your going to have to buy a passenger side one so I would look for a pair on sale somewhere (OMG just had a quick scan on fleabay & they are going for a small fortune so fix them!!). Not sure if yours have lights like the ones on my 986 Boxster but pic below of internals from when I changed the bulbs might give you an idea of what your up against.
