Gents
I need a Major service on my 2001 Boxster S
Does anybody have any recommendations about where to go ?
I am in Kent but a reasonable distance travelled for quality

My Boxster S is booked in at OPC Tonbridge next month for a minor. 986 is discounted servicing, A major would be £395 & we can normally push some more discount on our membership. I supply oil for mine which they use because I don't do Mobil 1 or the grade they use.

Think I'll do the same Jim, service is realy good , just looking for reassurance from guys with more experience and knowledge than myself.
getting rocker cover gasket changed and belt at the same time.

Mick I might add I have a 981 Boxster booked whilst it is in..... And the service may take 2-3 days

Had that last year, was brilliant. The look on Becky's chops when I told her it was £75K was funny as well.
Just ordering oil for mine from E Bay £40.31 for 10L shipped free!

Do you use 5w-40 in yours Jim?
Carparts4less has a deal on at the mo for Petronas Syntium 3000 for £15.98 a pop.

Thanks for letting me know, I run Comma Motorsport 5W/50 SL, spec in mine & this is either the 3rd or 4th oil change with it. It runs much nicer, quieter & smoother. It is also better protection for the bores & IMS. A guy on Fleabay does it at £40ish for 10L shipped for free.
