I have a 2005 Boxster and mine feels like you are going over a large stone when in full lock, in reverse mainly, sometimes going forward.
Also glad that it's a natural issue with the tyres as I thought initally a problem!

What exactly is it doing?
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it

Re: Boxster 987 Steering Phenomenon
The note that Chris 01 originally put on 19th Feb explains it well, it feels like one of the wheels is square, or how I put it, that you are going over a large stone.
This is from the front wheels, when manoevering at full lock at low speed mainly reversing but also sometimes when going forward.
It seems from the subsequent reply that it is a tyre issue?
