To cover or not to cover

My Cayman's in a garage - actually more of a lean-to with a garage door ie. open at one end. It's tight length ways so when it rains (always!) the bonnet gets wet - and sits wet. Because it's open it's still quite windy in there. I've got a Halfords breathable, waterproof cover but I'd heard you shouldn't use 'em if there's wind. Problem is, bloody cats like to walk over it - leaving their paw prints behind. Should I cover or not?

Hello - I've got my 911 in the garage and have the same problem as you - i did think about covering it but never did,but i remember with another 1 of my cars (long while ago) i covered it and found the cover rubbed the paint off the mirrors and some courners etc so be careful.
I have syill not covered my 911 i just go in and wipe it down and it gives you a excuess to get out the house for a bit .

That's not really answered your question but i like to woffle lol sorry

I think your best bet is a cover you can lower down from the edge of the car port to try to enclose the space. If it's a tight fit or can be done up with laces etc the cats won't be able to get in there.

Yep, good idea folks - I'll find a way to seal it up (perhaps with the cover!)
