993 Rear Spoiler Won't Retract.

Hi. I am new to the forum and have a 993 Targa in Arena Red. My problem is that my rear spoiler will not retract either automatically, as speed is reduced, or, manually using the internal rocker switch. There is no sound as I operate the rocker switch and there are no warning lights on the dash. Can anybody help please?

check fuse and relay? was it working before? did it stop suddenly, or over time, maybe getting noisy?

Thanks for the very quick suggestions. Will check both. There was no noise prior to the problem and it happened suddenly.

The spoiler's fixed now. It was a micro-switch. Apparently there are no relays on the retractor circuit.
