help i've lost the horn.....83,911sc,estoril blue.

hi guys,i have booked my mot for tomorrow am,and now my horn has suddenly decided to give up the ghost on me,i have checked everything,all fuses,wires,connectors,etc the only thing i can think there is left that could possibly be the problem is the actual horn relay,any ideas anybody?.....andy miles

They do pack up and are standard Bosch parts so no need to get one from a specialist supplier.
I'd test it straight onto a battery to check.
The Speedster only works on one tone, I always say that whomever causes me to use it would here me screaming at them over the sound of the horn anyway.

well helen!!,you may or may not be glad to know that i now have got a right old horn on again!!,no need for those blue tabs,just get hold of the tool and it all came good again!!,but there again i found out it was the two small brass contacts that were sticking in there rubber sleeves,problem solved.....thanks guys,helen....i may have to have a quiet word with you!

Yup the 944 one is a bit quiet, I intend fitting an air horn when I finally sort the front out.
