Looking at selling the 944 turbo for some more modern Porsche.
I used to own a 968 sport and quite fancy one, but they too are getting to the stage where maintenance is the key and important mechanical areas of the car require 'expensive' work.
Ideally i would love a Cayman S, but these are still out of my league at circa £20k.
The Boxster S fits the bill very nicely and the cheaper end of the market is within my budget. The only reservation is the lack of the tiny rear seats that the 944/968 gives me. However, i have found out recently that carrying children in these seats without car seat is actually illegal.
So, my question is did anyone come into Boxster ownership from a 944 or 968? How do you find the car? What are they like to run as a daily car?
Are there any Boxster S owners who wouldn't mind introducing me to the world of Boxster - i live in Swindon.
I have read that PSM is a must have as well as sports seats.
Any other advise?
Has anyone come to a Boxster from a 944 turbo?
