Working out my trim colour

Greetings
Can anyone teach me how to work out my official trim colour please for my 993?
I've looked at my build sticker
I've scratched my head
I've surfed
I've asked at OPC Sheffield
I'm 'John Major grey'........but unless I'm mistaken that only narrows it down as far as 6XL classic grey OR E38 rubicon grey OR B50 space grey. And those codes don't appear on my build sticker GRRRRRR
Thanks
Graham

I've got L744 followed by PJ. I believe L744 to be the body colour (metallic black)

744 is black, it will be a water based paint, therefore pearl=metallic. The interior codes are very tricky as the 2 digit codes are based upon all the interior colours used in the car, the combinations available are almost infinite, as a customer could order (at a cost!) almost any mixture of interior colours and finishes, so the 'standard car' almost becomes the rarity. Maybe try contacting the factory?

You can (at a cost of about £50) ask Porsche GB for a 'Certificate of Authenticity'. Give OPC Reading a call and they will be able to provide the appropriate form to complete. The certificate will list the original build spec, including interior and exterior colours and any optional extras. It takes about 2 weeks to arrive.

If you are also a member of the Porsche club GB and there was a mention in latest Porsche post then the certificate is free , just got mind back

I knew that, but thought it inappropriate to mention on this club's forum
