Hi,
Just to say how unimpressed I was with Porsche Centre Tonbridge regarding service quote for my 968.
They don't list cost on website for starters (only Boxters, 911's & the new breed lol) & when I phoned to ask price was told they would have to get back to me on that one as they weren't sure. 5hrs, yes 5hrs later I received a message saying it would be some silly price over £600 for just a 12k service. It felt like I just asked them about servicing a make they had never heard of instead of a bloody Porsche. Well sod the thought of getting a nice courtesy car I phoned up Project Nine & had a good chat to a nice enthusiatic guy who advised to renew brake fluid at same time (2yrs better than 3) at cost of just over £300 includes VAT. Booked up.
Before I sign off anyone know the law regarding driving a car to get a service without tax or MOT then going to get MOT few days later?? Car is on a sorn at mo so shouldn't be on road but would rather get serviced and deal with couple advisories from last year before putting in for MOT.
Cheers Steve
