Genuine 16in Cup Alloys (993, 944 etc)- £360

Post by simkin911 »

Genuine Porsche Cup Design 16" wheels from 1996-98 model year of 993 but currently fitted to my 944 s2. At £90 a wheel this is less than the original cost of the tyres alone.

Front 993 362 114 00 7Jx16 ET55
Rear 993 362 118 01 9Jx16 ET70

Shod with Bridgestone Expedia S01 all round. These are an OE tyre. It has an N-2 rating. 245/45/ZR16 rear & 205/55/ZR16 front. Tread : Fronts approx 7mm, rears approx 6mm.

The rear tyres have some very minor/narrow cracking in the base of the tyre groove but this is, I believe, quite common and likely due to lack of use (1000 miles in last 2 years) but I'm pointing this out as it's important to say exactly what it's like. Probably no different from many part used tyres and only spotted on detailed inspection. There were no issues with the MOT. Sidewalls are perfect. No loss of pressure etc..
Please note, these wheels were fitted to my 944 s2 and looked great as well as being somewhat uncommon on 944s.

Any 944 owner ('87 onwards) who is buying the wheels can also buy the (quality) spacers/bolts for £50 plus p+p (21mm rear and 8 mm front). I intend to keep the spacers until I have a buyer for the wheels.

Photos were taken in a bodyshop when the car was receiving some paint - hence wheels/tyres look somewhat dusty. Overall, absolutely excellent with just the odd minor scuff. These could easily just be fitted without any requirement for refurb or change of tyres etc. For sale elsewhere so could be removed without notice.

Buyers can arrange delivery for £27.99 via Paisley Freight or local pick up (near Edinburgh).

(Note, centre caps not included). Any questions please ask.

Hi, I bought them and still have them? Do you want them? No tyres on them. Been sitting at the side of the house since I picked them up and never done anything with them.

Hi Lee. Hard to believe but it wasn't actually the set pictured above you bought but another set that I had bought for the tyres only. Anyway, I'll give you £100 for them!

These are underrated wheels (IMO).

They are under rated, I've got a set on and though I'd buy a spare set to get refurb'ed one day and never got round to it.

£100 you say? How much did I pay for them? I thought it was more than that?

Hello.

I'm after some 16" wheels for my 944. Can you please confirm what wheels are actually for sale, as I've got a bit lost in this thread.
A brief description of their condition and dimensions would be good too.

Thanks.

Sorry, my wheels sold last week. :( I'll be selling the 928 soon, if the buyer wants the original wheels back then I'll have another set of these with brand new tyres on for sale. To summarise, I don't have a set just now, but maybe the original poster has?
