Self service garage in Glasgow - Auto DIY

I know a few people have asked about this sort of place before, so I thought I’d share the info now that I’ve found it. They had a stall in George Square yesterday at the Monte Carlo Rally pre-event.

They seem to be a friendly bunch and their rates sound fair. Rent a workshop bay, lifts, etc for an hourly or day rate and use their tools to work on your car.

Great idea, I think it was Pastry asking about it a few months ago? I hope they get business. Maybe we could have a club night there and see all the cars on the ramps?

Might be worth mentioning to Flash as an idea for a club night sometime. They do say on the website that they’re up for car clubs contacting them.

I do fancy checking this out, got a couple of jobs on the list would be easier on a ramp. Kindly been offered access to one by another forum user but this does look interesting too if their prices are reasonable.
