Apologies for being lazy, but below is the copy of an email sent to the South Central Region with the details. The evening is open to all TIPEC members !!

I thought I would give some advance notice of an event on the 28th. We will be holding an evening at Promax Motorsport

Evening starts at about 7.30 finishing at 9.30 with final drink in local pub for those who fancy it.

The idea is they will be able to put 5 cars on ramps for a free 20 min inspection for that owner. Also they will provide technicians on the night to answer any questions they can regards all cars attending on the night, not just the 5 on ramps.

If you are interested in going I will need to know the following via email (send to clive.gosling@tipec.net) from you

1- If you want to be one of the guys on the ramps for inspection. 5 slots only on this so first come first served.
2 – If you fancy coming along to ask a technician anything specific re your car, (but bring it please) then again let me know. I will need to know the question in advance as they would like to research and show and tell options.
3 – If attending for either of the above I need to know the car details, model etc. If coming along just for the chat I still need to know without model details to help catering etc


Promax will be laying on tea / coffee and a few cakes etc and whilst the heaters will be on, still wrap up !

Any questions then let me know, but please bear in mind I need to know numbers and further details if required as above.


Would be good to get as many a long as possible, so a reminder this is not just for South Central members.

Is this still going ahead as planned?

It got postponed - hope you weren't waiting there too long

PM me your e-mail address so I can check it is up to date on the database. Clive sent an e-mail out to say it was not going to happen, but if your e-mail address isn't current, you may not have got it.

Luckily i was followed in by one of the guys dropping off a part, so no i wasn't waiting round long. Didn't get an email either though pm sent too

Just for you info , there would have been a bloke round the corner selling Chicken soup at a very reasonable rate which could have kept you warm

I think Mike must be referring to your Mug shot on the Tipec Calender, Coz he's got it hanging at the end of his bed, I bet he can't way for April to come, drool drool!

My apologies if people didnt get an email re cancelling the event. I did send one to all that had shown an interest so I will need to check the data base. If you email me your email address (if that makes sense) I will check it on the database or check to see what happened !!!

We will be going to the Green Man in March, with the lighter nights coming back, so I will post this on the forum and email as per usual etc. Mind you I am going to start taking numbers of attendees or likely attendees so I can let the pub know what to expect, their big gripe last year !

Right then, who wants to borrow the Turbo as payback for dissapointment. I would offer Mikes Supersport camper van, but its slow, not very rare and you can pay a £5 for a Taxi ride to the shops in it any day !!
