So, it finally lives! Got the ecu back today and it fired up first time!

Few water leaks to tend to and clutch to bleed and should be good for the first test run.....

Great news James :bounce:

I've been watching a few Youtube videos of the Motor Werks conversions in the US - those little engines don't half pack a punch! 8)

Running sweet, managed to bleed the water system got hot air at heaters, boosting up nice, tried clutch but it doesn't work, fork is hitting before it realising, I have drive but not disengaging.

So motor is back out and turns out the clutch disc from the camper is 1.5mm thicker and the case Of The issue. I'm going to make a 1.5 plate that bolts between the flywheel and basket and take a bit out the inside Of The bellhousing for clearance.

It's gutting that 95% Of The thing works, but at least it give me a chance to twerk a few hoses etc whilst it out.

Few more hours and it should be driving and there another autocross Next Week so that's the new goal

Keep at it, so close now. I also had to pull my clutch out once I'd built it all up, but I least I can do mine from inside the car with the engine in place!

So here is a video of a test drive. You can see it cutting out with the Overboost issue, tried a few things but don't have a boost gauge at the minute and my scanner won't work in the obd port, either because I have a Shit scanner or because I don't have the clocks wired in. Gonna try with my mates vagcom later and if still won't work im going to have to wire the clocks in.

Either way it sounds awesome and goes like A train!

Enjoy

Got a scanner to work with it, had all sorts of fault codes, cleared them went for a drive, it overboosted so went back to garage, plugged back in an only 2 fault codes, speed sensor and exceeded boost pressure. So its gotta be n75 valve or dodgy actuator. Just got a cable today and downloaded the free vagcom software, so hopefully tomorrow I can log whats going on.

Even treated it to a polish and painted the wheels!

Hey james, what did you have to wire up? I see two relays one for starter and one for fuel thats it? Glad you got it running and moving btw.

So, done 30 odd miles in the car over past few weeks, going well, sorted overboost issue, had 2 sensors plugged in wrong! causing it run at 1bar boost, instead of 0.5bar stock. Now its fixed and makes it 0.5bar it could deffo do with a remap but down the tight twisty lanes its dangerous already!

As for the wiring ill see if I can find the pic of my wiring diagram somewhere for you.

If you could it would be a big help. Im down to slave cylinder, wiring, and fuel lines.
