Now also booked into the Premier Inn, Scunthorpe. Looks like the best hotel option near to the track.

Hi all, for those that it may be of interest to... The British Touring Car Circus is at Donington Park on this weekend. It's relatively close to Blyton in the grand scheme of things so after thrashing your own motor around Blyton on the Saturday, seeing how the professionals do it could be a great way of spending the Sunday!

For Info :-
If anyone is in need of a good Carvery for food (very reasonable prices), local to the track there is a Crown Carvery, Ramper Road Gainsborough DN21 1NE 4 to 5 miles SW from Blyton on the A631 going out of Gainsborough on the Right (hand bend) immediately over the Bridge over the River Trent.
Eat as much as you like breakfast £3.99 not sure of the times.
A really good Carvery £4.19 (3 meats, told you it is reasonable., B....y Cheap) or more meat, large Sausage and Yorkshire pud for 50p extra. No need to book but for times info tel no is 01427 612026 (http://www.crowncarveries.co.uk)
I live in Lincoln and we often go to this place for the Carvery, havn't tried the breakfast yet.
Enjoy (as they say :roll: )
Clive
Hope to visit track as spectator, (will probably be staying in Caravan at Clumber Park Caravan Club site while Turbo may still be in for service).
Edit : Postponed new caravan collection for a week so will be visiting as a spectator and may take a Carvery Breakfast on the way as I wont be hurtling round the track :lol:

Gents

I am also booked into the Premier at Scunny. A couple of questions;

1 - I am bringing a mate but did not state this when I booked. Can I pay the tenner on the day?
2 - The site says bring your licence but my good friends at the Lancashire Constabulary have asked me to send it to them so that they can rob me of £60 and give me 3 free points. :roll:

Is a copy OK?

Peter
